Welcome!
If you’ve found your way here, you’re likely seeking something deeper.
You want greater clarity, strategic guidance, and more authentic care than you’ve encountered in the past. You want a clinician who genuinely listens, understands your priorities, and crafts a plan tailored just for you—someone who will thoroughly explain all your options and discuss the risks and benefits of both action and inaction.
I established this practice to offer just that: a personalized, high-touch approach that combines clinical expertise with heartfelt connection. Whether your aim is to restore your health, understand your hormones, change your lifestyle and body composition, or simply rediscover your true self, every recommendation we make is rooted in both evidence and compassion.
At LWC, you can expect a tranquil experience, open communication, and a plan that evolves alongside you. Here, your goals steer our direction, and your journey is supported at every step. We listen, validate your concerns, explore the trends and details, and use data to design your one-of-a-kind care plan. We partner with you (and your care teams) to best address your health and wellness needs.
It is a privilege to accompany you on this journey, and I look forward to helping you achieve the results you seek.

What is foundational care?
Whole-body care that fills the gaps
Most people are offered two separate paths. Conventional medicine is essential for diagnosing and treating disease, but it’s often built around short visits, one concern at a time, and lab results that are simply “normal” or not. Holistic wellness looks at the whole person, including nutrition, stress, sleep, and lifestyle, but it may not include comprehensive labs, prescriptions, or medical oversight. Foundational care brings the two together.
Conventional medicine
- Diagnoses and treats disease
- Screens for red flags
- Often limited by visit length and insurance coverage
Holistic wellness
- Looks for root causes
- Focuses on nutrition, lifestyle, and supplements
- May not include lab interpretation, prescribing, or medical management
LWC foundational care
- Comprehensive labs, biomarkers, and your full health story
- Licensed clinicians who can diagnose, prescribe, and manage treatment
- Nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement guidance built around your results
- Unrushed visits and ongoing follow-up
In short, we look at your whole body rather than one symptom at a time, and we use the best of both worlds: medicine when it’s needed, and lifestyle and holistic tools throughout. We don’t replace your primary care provider. We work alongside them to fill in what a standard visit isn’t designed to cover.
Who we serve
Midlife women desiring more
You’ve tried to get answers, but what you’ve received instead are quick fixes, rushed appointments, or generic advice that doesn’t address the root of your concerns. You know your health deserves more—more time, more attention, and a strategy built specifically for you. You want a proactive approach rather than a reactive, band-aid one.
Our patients are often ready to regain control of their health, restore their energy and focus, and feel confident in their bodies again. What they share is a commitment to lasting results, a willingness to take an active role in their care, and a desire for a trusted partner who listens, understands, and guides them with expertise.
We work with midlife individuals navigating challenges such as:
- Hormonal fluctuations
- Weight and body composition changes
- Disturbed sleep and low energy
- Brain fog
- Mood changes
- Vaginal dryness
- Metabolic dysfunction
- Preconception and postpartum support
- Systemic inflammation
- Low libido
…and many other common symptoms of midlife.

How we work
Where science meets self-care
Here’s exactly what happens from the moment you book. Every step after your Clarity Consultation is optional.
Complete your intake
After you book, you’ll receive an email from Healthie, our secure patient portal, to create your account and complete your health history and consent forms. The link expires after 4 days, so set it up right away. We also recommend downloading the Healthie app.
Get your Clarity labs
San Diego patients come to our Solana Beach office for a fasting, morning lab draw, plus biometrics and a body composition scan, ideally about a week before their consultation. Virtual patients anywhere in California receive a lab order to use at a nearby lab. Your labs are included in your Clarity Consultation, so there’s nothing to pay at the draw.
Optional nutrition and lifestyle session
If you’d like, you can add a session focused on nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress.
Your Clinical Clarity Consultation
An extended, unrushed visit with an LWC nurse practitioner to review your results and your personalized Clarity Wellness Profile: key lab findings, screenings, a supplement plan, and lifestyle recommendations. The report is yours to use whether or not you continue care with us.
Choose your next step
If you want ongoing support, you can enroll in a 16-week LWC Pathway (Hormone, Metabolic, Longevity, or Reproductive, at the Essentials, Elevated, or Enhanced level) or a Continuity of Care plan. After a Pathway, patients move into our Maintenance and Refill program for ongoing management.
What it costs
Your Clarity Consultation is a comprehensive experience that includes our foundational, in-depth symptom review and intake questionnaire, the LWC lab panel, a body composition scan and grip strength assessment (for San Diego patients), Lifestyle and Mental Health Risk Reports, your Clarity Wellness Profile, and a clinical consultation with one of our licensed clinicians. The Clarity Consultation investment is $997.
If you choose to continue with treatment and ongoing management with our LWC clinicians, we offer initial 16-week foundational Pathways. Each Pathway provides a strategic roadmap toward your health and wellness goals and bundles all ongoing care and medication management, with initial investments starting at $1,297 based on your individual needs and goals.
Continuity of Care plans for ongoing care and management range from $349 to $550+ per month and are billed quarterly, based on the level of care you choose. The cost of medications is not included. Every plan is individualized and tailored to you.
We accept HSA and FSA cards, and Cherry financing is available for Pathways and programs.
Our mission is to redefine women’s health care by offering time, attention, and science-backed guidance in a supportive environment, so every woman can feel aligned, confident, empowered, and truly well.

What our patients are saying
The midlife reset I didn’t know I needed
“From the first visit, I knew this wasn’t going to be another ‘check the box’ appointment. Megan actually listened, asked the right questions, and helped me connect the dots between my hormone fluctuations, cortisol levels, and metabolic shifts. We created a personalized plan—not a one-size-fits-all—and within weeks, I felt my energy returning. More importantly, I felt seen. LWC gave me a strategy, not a band-aid. And for the first time, I don’t fear the next decade. I’m ready for it.”
Amanda, 42
Reviving my relationship (and myself)
“Megan and the team weren’t afraid to talk about sex, and that alone was healing. We dove into my hormone health, pelvic floor support, and even the nutritional factors affecting my energy and drive. Within three months, I was experiencing things I hadn’t in years: comfort, desire, and connection with my partner. My marriage feels renewed. I feel renewed. LWC didn’t just address a symptom. They helped me reclaim a part of myself I thought I’d lost forever.”
Jenna, 48
Aging with intention, not just reaction
“Live Well Collective felt like a revelation. The Clarity process made me feel like someone had finally mapped out my body, not just textbook labs. We reviewed everything from cardiovascular markers to hormone levels to brain support. I now have a supplement protocol that’s actually purposeful and a lifestyle plan that fits me, not a trend. This isn’t just wellness. It’s a strategy for the next 30 years, and LWC gave me the roadmap.”
Denise, 56
Questions, answered
Is the Clarity Consultation a commitment to ongoing care?
No. The Clarity Consultation stands on its own. You’ll leave with your personalized Clarity Wellness Profile, and you can decide afterward whether to continue with a Pathway or Care Plan, or use your report on your own.
Do I need to fast before my labs?
Yes. Please don’t eat for at least 8 hours before your draw (nothing after midnight is easiest) and drink only water that morning. Schedule your labs before 10:30 a.m., and skip your supplements that morning. If you use testosterone, thyroid medication, or biotin, hold them until after your draw. Your Clarity guide has full instructions.
What if I already had labs done?
If you’ve had comprehensive labs in the last 3 months, we can review them as part of your consultation and let you know if anything else is needed. Please send any recent results, including genetic, gut, or other specialty testing, at least 72 hours before your appointment.
Can you serve as or replace my PCP?
We hold our primary care colleagues in the highest regard and have immense respect for their vital role. We do not seek to replace them; rather, we are eager to collaborate with them and other specialists.
Do you accept insurance?
We’re a 100% cash-based practice. This allows us to provide extended, unrushed, personalized care without the limitations and delays of insurance models. We accept HSA and FSA cards, offer payment plans, and accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards for eligible services. Cherry financing is also available for Pathways and programs. Patients may use their insurance for medications, imaging, and referrals if they choose.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards where eligible. Payment is due at the time of service.
What is included in your programs?
We offer initial consultations and a structured 16-week pathway designed to lay the foundation for optimizing your health, energy, and overall well-being. This initial phase focuses on building sustainable habits and improving key areas such as metabolism, digestion, and hormone balance. Afterward, patients transition into a continuation program for ongoing support and long-term results.
Can I work with you remotely?
Yes. We offer virtual care throughout California. Many of our services, including hormone care, metabolic consults, and longevity planning, can be done remotely with the same high-quality approach.
Do you see men?
While our primary focus is women’s health, we also provide services for men, addressing their metabolic, hormonal, and longevity care needs.
